I always love talking about vacuum sealers since we use one several times a week in my house for all kinds of things. The Ary VacMaster Pro 350 is an excellent option for you to consider. I find vacuum sealing to be a very satisfying way to spend time in the kitchen, probably because having a lot of food freshly packed and stored makes humans feel safe and secure.
Benefits of a Quality Vacuum Sealer
A good vacuum sealer is a useful addition to your kitchen. Like I said, in my house we use one pretty frequently and I consider it to be an essential kitchen appliance.
The key is to get a good one though, not one that will give you nothing but hassles and headaches until it finally quits on you one day.
It sounds like I’m exaggerating but unfortunately, I’m not.
It may seem like a good idea to purchase one of the many inexpensive vacuum sealers on the market, but the performance will be less than stellar.
Weak vacuum suction, unreliable seals, and short lifespan are some of the most common ailments afflicting lower end vacuum sealers. Less expensive machines can lead you down a path of spending less but replacing the unit more frequently.
And there’s often a frustrating period of time when the unit starts to be unreliable and then you’re dealing with problems until you start the process over again with a new inexpensive machine.
I like to cut these issues out of my life before they creep in by making fewer purchases in general and selecting higher quality items when I decide to buy. (This isn’t an infallible strategy but it works most of the time.)
A unit like the Ary VacMaster Pro 350 can save you a ton of trouble and last longer, saving you replacement costs down the road.
In my household a lot of fishing goes on and using the vacuum sealer for (hopefully a lot of) fish is part of the process.
Ary VacMaster Pro 350 Vacuum Sealer Review
As the name implies, the Ary VacMaster Pro 350 vacuum sealer is a professional-quality machine that’s perfectly suited for your home kitchen if you do a moderate amount of vacuum sealing or more. It has a sleek stainless steel body with a durable, substantial-feeling build quality.
The control panel is flat and easy to clean, and the unit has a clear lid that allows you to see what you’re doing and line up the bags easily. The control buttons are as follows: on/off, start, seal, accessory, marinate, vacuum level, seal time settings, and pulse.
Ary VacMaster Pro 350 Specs
Product dimensions are 15 x 14 x 6.5 inches. The weight of this unit is 19 pounds.
The VacMaster Pro 350 comes with a one-year warranty.
There is storage for a 50-foot long roll of bags, and the seal bar is 12 inches long. It has a dual piston pump for lots of vacuum power and the built-in cooling fan keeps the unit from having to stop and cool down when you’re doing lots of sealing at a time. There is a seal pad that applies pressure against the seal bar to ensure a good seal.
This type of vacuum sealer allows you to cut your bags to size rather than having to deal with predetermined sizes. I prefer this since you can make more efficient use of the material this way and reduce waste. You do have the option of using the precut bags.
Seal time: This machine gives you a range of seal time settings ranging from 0.5 to 9.0. The machine stores the last seal setting in its memory so if you usually use the same setting you won’t have to re-enter it every time you start sealing.
Seal only: If you don’t want the vacuum suction you can use the seal-only setting.
Vacuum level: Settings are as follows: minimum (23 hg), medium (25 hg), and maximum (27.5 hg). You also have the option to enter a manual setting between 20 hg and 27.5 hg.
Pulse: The pulse button allows you to gently vacuum seal delicate items.
Accessory: The accessory button allows you to vacuum seal canisters. You can do this with the available accessory hose.
Marinate mode: This feature allows you to achieve a quick marinade. It requires the use of the included accessory hose and a separate canister. The machine will alternate between vacuuming and resting and when the marinate is complete, the unit will alert you with a beep.

Other Vacuum Sealers to Consider
There are some other units to take a look at if you’re not sure about the Pro 350.
The VacMaster Pro 380 is a nice machine that has all of the positives of the 350 but with a longer seal bar — 16 inches. You can check out our VacMaster Pro 380 review for more details.
The Weston Pro-2300 Commercial Grade Stainless Steel Vacuum Sealer is a unit that’s comparable in price, but it gives you more of a commercial build quality and the reviews are more consistently positive as you can see here. It has a nice-sized 15-inch seal bar and it also has a dual-piston pump with a fan-cooled motor to keep it from overheating.
If you want to take a look at our recommended unit under $100, it’s the NESCO VS-12, Deluxe Vacuum Sealer with Bag Starter Kit and Viewing Lid. It’s not as substantially put together as the others but in this price range it’s the best we’ve found. Reviews are consistently positive.
Ary VacMaster Pro 350: Conclusion
Vacuum sealers can be a super useful addition to any home kitchen, whether you use it mostly for sous vide or for general food packaging and storage. In my house we use ours all the time for sealing fish, portioning bulk meat purchases from Costco, and making sous vide meals. I recommend getting a quality unit like the VacMaster 350 because your results will be better and the machine should last you a lot longer than a lower end machine.
